Hello all! I bought a used car 6 months ago. The car is 5+ years old and I don't know how the previous owner take care of it. I'm new to detailing a car. I don't want to spend 5 hours plus like others to detail a car. On the 5 steps cycle, can I use M80 speed glaze or M09 swirl remover to put the cleaning and polishing in 1 step? Or is it really worth it to spend the time to do separately? Like using Deep Crystal paint cleaner and DC pure polish. I read that the DC polish is designed for darker color car. The color of my car is gold or you can call it "Champagne". Is the DC polish going to be good for it? By the way, I'm applying everything by hand. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: What products should I use please?
hi welcome eastsidewin, if thats all you want to do is a one step cleaner and polish i would use some colorX it has a cleaning effect along with polishing and i always like to apply some paste wax for the last step product, like 26 or nxt tec wax and also gold glass wax all have great shine. unless you have swirls and/or scratches then first use some scratchX .but try the colorX first to see how it looks. after all it's what looks good to you.''USE THE LEAST AGGRESSIVE PRODUCT TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT''

hi there,
welcome to MOL!!!
okay since everything is by hand I'll give you two options. Note i've included some links below for some more info.
#1
Wash
Clay
M80
NXT x 2
with this, M80 has enough cleaners to clean and oils to polish so you can skip the polish step if you like. if you don't want to, just add a pure polish like #7.
#2
Wash
Clay
Scratch-X
#7
NXT x 2
your best bet is to do a test spot and determine which system works best on your car to your liking.
