Just bought some to use on my headlight covers & taillight lenses. This is not my concern however. The centre console of my 2002 Honda Accord SE has that fake walnut stuff more as decoration than anything. I was going to use PlasticX on it but the instructions say not to use it on painted surfaces. Any ideas??

Im pretty sure that the fake walnut stuff would be considered a plastic, because they usually coat the painted walnut with plastic. I be worried about getting it on the vinyl surrounding the plastic trim.

Thanks to "joyofdriving". Loved the pic of you & your "stuff.' It is still too cold up here to bring all of mine out but when it warms up will send a pic. Since I got into detailing in a major way last summer I am like a kid in a candy store buying "stuff" for my ride & reading as much as I can. When I was younger it was all about power (my Vette for instance), now that I am almost 64, it is all about looks. I spend hours working on my car. My lady sighs: "at least he's not drinking", the neighbours smile & ask ME for advice!!

It might but don't try it, search on the net cos many people have found some pretty neat ways of removing those scratches on ipods both the plastic front and the reflective back.
