What happened?? (with pics)

I just washed my car and after dryed it with a Water magnet, this world of swirls poped!

is my WM bad? i just washed it with megs red soap and a mit, my WM is not like it used to be, i mean doesnt get as much water as before, but how did it scratched al the surface? should i discard it? (and go back to M80 obviously)

well this could be caused by one the following factors:

A) feel your towel when it's dry. if it feels rough and you push it down too harshly on the surface, it will scratch.

B) if you store it in a disty place and it gets dust and you don't wash it and rinse it, then it may put some scratches in the paint

C) if you didn't wash your car very well and you left some dirt in tyhe surface and picked it up with the towel, you might scratch the car

D) if you're cleaning and rinsing your towel in dirty water, it might pick up some dust particles or dirt particles and scratch the surface?

now, which one of these happened?

the solutions are:

A) change your towel if it feels too rough

B) store the towel in a dust free environment, prefferably in a ziploc bag

C) check you did wash your car well and if you see any dirt still when drying it, prevent your towel from touching those areas

D) rinse your towel with clean water.

this will help to not put scratches or swirls in your paint that easily

I am sure it's the Water Magnet, i did some investigations, and it seems someone used it to clean heavy stains from the garage floor, that's why i felt it was rough.

I will throw it away, not happy a bout it, here in Costa Ric, those things cost $20, and that was my only one, i think i'll use for now MF's to get the work done, and have to give it another M80 pass. (actually i am not mad of doing it again )
