I have Prom on Friday, April 20. I was thinking that i would do a full detail the weekend before, like April 14. On the afternoon of friday, april 20, i was planning on doing a quick detail to touch up the spots, use a booster wax, redress the tires, clean the rims, and clean the glass. Does this sound good? Any suggestions for doing anything differently?

Sounds Good!! Any chance you could wash it on Thursday or Friday (of the dance)? If you do the full detail on the 14th then wash it on Thursday or Friday, it would be in excellent shape...but it would look good any way with your schedule...Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway.

Get a California (or Oxo) Car Duster and some NXT Speed Detailer, use them according to directions every day or two (if it doesn't rain) and you should be all set! Get some Supreme Shine MF Towels and/or the Quik Detail Pad to remove the Speed Detailer. IMHO the booster wax should be unnecessary that soon after a full detail. If you used a sealant on the rims the Speed Detailer should be sufficient to remove brake dust.Originally posted by onnfire View Post
