What sealant do you suggest putting on the rims?

Are the wheels clear-coated or true metallic (chrome/bare aluminum)? If they're clear-coated, treat them like paint. My buddy has a 8006 pad just for his wheels. We buffed them out with 83, then 80, and finished with NXT Tech wax front and back. They were SOOOOOO much easier to get the brake dust off of after waxing. My wheels are chromed so I used NXT metal polish on a mini power-ball. You can also use the new Hot Rims Wheel Polish on metallic wheels (don't use it on clear-coated wheels).

I dont know because they are on my dads car. Does anyone know what would come stock on a MB CLS 500? My guess might be chrome, but i could be wrong.

If its the car in your avatar, they're likely clear-coated polished aluminum. If you have any metal polish, try a small section of the wheel with it. If it turns black do the whole wheel with it, if it stays white use whatever you use on the paint. The black will be oxidized aluminum coming off showing that the wheel is uncoated aluminum.

It stays white. Ive detailed the car before. So a coat of NXT should do the trick?

Yeah, or any thing that you would use on the paint, becuase they have a clear coat on them, so any wax will work
