That would be perfectly fine if your working by hand. First thing you should do is find out if your cars paint is past the curing stage. This means that you should wait 3 months after the build date of the car or after it was painted.

Correct me if I am wrong but on a new vehicle from the factory you don't have to wait for the paint to 'cure' since the finish is baked.

Ive heard that too but wasnt quite sure. Even if its baked, isnt there still a curing time for it? I believe 1 month?

The baking speeds up the curing, so it goes from months to hours. Your new car will be fine to clean/polish/wax right away.

Also, dont forget to check if it needs clayed as well.

if the car is new, the paint is factory baked and doesn't need to cure, it's different, when it is a repaint, you need to wait 30-90 days before sealing/waxing.

                WAX RIGHT AWAY!!!

                NO PROBLeMS!!!

                Over cured.

My MINI was no problem to do right away.

its only after market jobs you gotta wait about 90 days to be really safe.
