  • Using QD immediately prior to NXT?

    Hi..

Just wondering...I will need to drive a short distance from where I wash my car to where I will be detailing it. I would like to know if I can use QD..or NXT Detail spray once at the detailing destination, THEN apply DC1,2 and NXT? I want to remove any possible contaminants prior to the detailng process.

    Thanks...

Can't see it presenting any problems, I regulary QD my car between washing and waxing stages, in fact I also use it when drying the car with my water magnet to provide some lubrication and reduce the chance of instilling marring into the paint.
    It's Zetec, not VTEC...

Before is not a problem. This is done all the time.

After applying the NXT you do not want to use a QD or any liquid on the surface until the product has had a chance to cure. Depending on the weather conditions, etc. this should happen within 24 hours.

So the best idea to keep all liquids off the surface for that time period.
