  • difference between color X and#6

I was wondering the difference between these two products.I was thinking of using them on my familys daily drivers. I thought in this case it would be a good use for a cleaner wax since they are not realy very "detail" oriented.
After 1 pass of cleaner wax would there be a benefit of using another type of wax like #26?
    Thanks Rich

Re: difference between color X and#6

Both of these products are probably pretty close to cleaning ability, #6 might be a tick stronger and more versatile in that it can be used with a rotary buffer for production work not that using a rotary buffer to apply waxes is a good process for enthusiasts but in the production detailing industry speed is often times chosen over quality or results.

If you're looking for a good one-step product to clean, polish and protect the paint on a daily driver then either of these will get the job done for you. ColorX will probably be easier to find as most retail consumer stores carry it while #6 tends to find distribution through Professional Channels.

Remember to shake both products well before using and also remember that part of the cleaning action of any cleaner/wax comes from you and the passion you put behind the pad.
