  • Polisher (Any other brand?)

It seems that I have too many questions today.

As I know, the porter cable / Meguiar G-100A are the best polishers for detailing.

However, in here, Canada, we are having difficulties buying the stuffs (too expensive and warranty concerns - almost $500 CAD for a polisher) as I have just mentioned.

Anyone knows which brands of polishers have the same polishing results as PC and G-100A.

    Please advice.

well i have a first one who is very known well under the MOL crew:

    Makita

Search on different sites for the keyword polisher and you will get a lot of products to use...

    DEWALT

    Milwaukee

but i certainley would use or order a PC or the G-100A for a safe start...

Dewalt and makita make similar polishers, but both are more expensive than the pc. My suggestion would be to shop online and save up a little change, it's definitely worth it.

These polishers seems to be used by the professional but for a beginner like me. Besides, they do not seem like they are orbital polishers. I am wondering if people lack of skills would easily get burnt paint.

I think I should come to the State and buy either a PC or G-100A

At present, I am using a 6" hand-held random orbital polisher from "Turtle Wax" for my cars. It is okay to use but easy to get loose from your hand.

Go to Canadian Tire... they carry the PC for $239cdn. Or, go to carcaresmart.com they have it there for $198.50cdn with free shipping right now.

            solution!

just hang in there for a little while,Mike is creating a discount package for mol members.
why settle for less? just pick up on the good stuff.
every dollar spent on quality gives you more fun,and great performance, every cent spent on rubbish is a waste of money!
