I had to mix up a special batch for my wife just so I could find mine when I needed it. She uses it as much around the house as I use it for cars. She claims it's the best general purpose cleaner she ever used. I love the stuff.
It works great and smells awesome! The smell seems to stay around for a while too which is nice.
I've been mixing it just a shade stronger than the recommended 10:1. It seems like it dries easier that way. Maybe just the cold weather though. At 10:1 I feel like I have to wipe a long time to get it dry.
IG works pretty darn good and it is one of the best ones in the market today. With that said I am curious what the better benefits or features of the Meguiars glass cleaner are ?
I am always trying to educate my self about better products so please let us know.

I agree that IG is one of the best glass cleaners in the market today. I used to use it exclusively. I think Meg's glass cleaner is better because IMHO;
1. It cleans even better and leaves no film.
2. Film does not develop for a longer period. (i.e. glass stays cleaner longer.)
3. It is a fraction of the cost of IG. ($18 for 11 gallons vs. $6.00 for 22 oz.)
4. It smells much better.

I would of said the same exact things, its a great glass cleaner, it almost looks like theres no glass at all.
I used IG for 6-7 months and went through many many many bottles of it and I have used detailer line for about a month and have liked it better from the get-go.
I really like the no film feature..I almost never have to clean the interior rear windows or windshield, they're spotless and film free.
hope this helps
Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway. This is your life. Choose to live it to the fullest.
I finally picked some up. Its great stuff! Lets see...IG is about 3.49 for 19oz=.18 per oz. Meguiars glass cleaner costs me less than a penny an oz. From a cost standpoint, its a no brainer. It works quite well too.
I'm interested in getting this product as well, but still kinda learning all the lingo that goes along with all this stuff, what exactly do you mean by the fact that no film is left on the windows. Like there is no streaking, is that what is being implied.
Thanks
