Hey, does anyone know a good safe way to get dryed egg yolk off the finnish of a car panted black with a clear coat. Factory paint and the car is two years old. Signed, "yolk in the face".

Re: egg yolk
You need to soften the yolk by saturating it with water, here's a sugesstion that is related to removifn dried bugs that should work.
Note it will take some time.

Take a wash rag and saturate it with water or your car wash solution.
Place the wet wash rag on top of the dried bug splatter and allow it to sit for a few minutes. A variation of this would be to use warm/hot water.
To speed up the process, apply some gentle pressure while drinking a cold soft drink and if need be, hum or whistle a little diddy.

Re: egg yolk
Youi will want to get it off of the finish as soon as possible.
Eggs are highly acidic in nature, and if left on a finish in high temperatures will etch the paintwork.Meguiar's Fire/Rescue/EMS, member of the Church of the Highly Reflective Finish!

Re: egg yolk
Not to fear, this is why we cover our paint with the Polymers, If your polish is up to date, the egg has not touched the paint. You are washing it off the polimers not the paint. Re-apply a new coat after you have soaked the culprets attitude off your black beauty.

Unfortunately that is not true.
Egg yolk, bird droppings, hard water and certain bugs will eat through the strongest sealant on earth in a blink of an eye.
