I have used Meguire's Quick Detail for a long time, and like it very much. A friend tells me that he uses Plexus on his car's finish and it is supreior to anything else. Has anyone used it? Are long-term effects known? Anything else?

Re: Plexus on car finish?
Meguiar's offers an entire range of plastic polishes, of which we think are as good or better than any of the competition, that said our chemists formulate paint care products for automotive paints and our plastic products for plastic.
While a plastic product may, can and will make paint look good, in most cases you're going to be happier using a product specifically formulated for the surface it's meant to be applied to.
You could always experiment to see what you like best in your eyes on your car.

You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.
