  • Help caked up DACP on my 9006

I have dried caked up DACP on the edges of my 9006 pad & caked up dried NXT on the brown one forgot the number ...8006???
How do I get this stuff off. I put two little squiggly spiral scratches on my hood with this caked up debris. Either that or I had a contamination problem. Should I just order new pads. These things are a mess Im afriad to re use them.

    Hi CJ Majesty,

The best way to remove these is to attach you foam pad to a rotary buffer and draw a nylon brush across the face of the foam pad as it's spinning. If you don't have a rotary buffer, then you can still use a nylon brush, (like a tooth brush), and simply brush the dried residue off with some brisk strokes across the foam.
