  • Will a PC work ok on the front end of a Ram?

I'm going to be buying a G-100 or PC soon and was wondering if I'll have problems working on my 04 Ram? How do you go about areas like the front end? There's lots of curves so I was just thinking those areas might be hard to do with a machine?? Or even the hood & front fender where it rounds over. I'm going to pick up Mike video so maybe it covers it there?

    Thanks
    Sean

When it comes to machine cleaning and polishing, you pretty much just get what you can get and do the rest by hand. The pad will stop spinning and only oscillate/vibrate when it's placed against or into tight areas, sharp curves, etc., so the cleaning aspect is greatly reduced in these areas.

    Nature of the machine.

      And a little warning.
If you use a machine on a curved area, the surface area of the machine that touches the car is smaller.
So there is a bigger risk that you do some damage to the paint.

what is it that I have heard echoed around here in the past?

You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

I've used the DA on my Ram with no problems. Once you get going on it it'll be simple to figure out how to move the machine around those tough spots.

Maybe you should just trade up and get a Lightning!!!! Not as many curves and such on the front end. Just kidding.....NICE TRUCK!
