  • NOT by hand question from a n00b!

Hello, i am kinda new here, and i have a few questions about using a dual action polisher.

I am considering getting meguiars dual action polisher off the net and i just had a few questions.

    1. I have never used anything like that on a vehicle before, how had is it to learn and is it worth it?

    2. can i use the before mentioned polisher to apply wax, pain cleaner, and polish, and scrach remover???

    3. Does it look as good as doing it by hand?

    THANK YOU!!

    Glad you posted!!

    1. Minute to learn, lifetime to master. I'm getting better with it each detail.

    2. Use with pretty much any Meguiar's product except ScratchX and rotary only polishes.

    3. Looks better!! Especially removing NXT with PC and Ultimate Bonnet. It gives the surface a nice POP!

Today was the first time I used the PC to apply NXT. I usually do by hand. Wow it went on quick, thin and easy... Then removed with UB and PC. Again great results. The PC will definitely speed up your detail jobs! I was reluctant to listen to people on the forum to apply with pc. Boy have I been missing out! I'm not nearly as tired either, could do one more car today!

    Hope this helps.

The PC is worth every penny and then some. The results are much better when using a PC and anyone can use it and not damage the paint. I would say go for it!
