  • Fresh Paint Question

Can someone please confirm this is ok to do?

I have just had my front bar and side shirts resprayed and I know that I have to wait at least 60-90 days before I seal and wax the paint so I can "breathe" outgas.

So is it ok to use #7 Showcar Glaze to give it a little protection? I know the protection wont last long but I'm intending to use it every time I wash the car.

    Appreciate your comments and suggestions

    Cheers

#80 would actualy offer slightly more protection, but nonetheless, both are safe to use on fresh paint.

      Re: Fresh Paint Question

If you want as an alternative, use Meguiar's Speed glaze (M80) or 3M's perfect it 3000 final glaze. both offer safe protection for uncured finishes, this will save you time and maybe money.

      Hope this helps

I think Meguiars recomends using #80.
You left out licking the water off. Oh, wait a minute, that's my cat, not my car. Uh, I mean my cat licks himself dry. I don't lick my cat dry. Or my car. -PC.

Thanks for the replies, I'll go with the M80. I just thought it would be safer to use M7 as it's a pure polish.
