Can someone point me in the right direction? I know I want the 8006 pads because I'm trying to remove some swirls, but is there a kit that has everything I need or do I need to piece it together? Links would be sweet

6.5" DA backing plate with velcro, 7006 pad, 8006 pads and a 9006 pad or two. Get as many pads/MF towels as your budget can afford because in the end you'll need them anyway.

Meguiar's #80 and maybe #83. If you don't already have #7 then buy it NOW! Good luck, can't wait to see some before and after shots.

Will I need to buy any new counter-weights? or will everything you mentioned work with what I have?

I didn't notice a 6.5 pad on the meguiars site. Do I need to get that somewhere else?

They are on Meguiars.com search for "soft buff". You might be better off giving them a call, when I bought my PC they packaged three pads together (two 8006 and one 9006) at a slightly discounted price, they were not on the web site and I am not sure if they are still doing this. Don't worry about the counter weight, here is a post talking about them: The Dual Action Counterweight 'Controversy'

Thanks a bunch, I think I figured it out, the 5" plate is for the 6.5" pads, I think thats what you meant, unless you think I should get the 8" pads which need the 6.5" plate.

You want the 5" backing plate, the PC uses the 6.5" pads.

I was just going by the model number, my bad. Anyway, the counterweights are unnecessary. I don't use counterweights and I still receive terrific results in return. Once you get use to vibrations, they aren't that bad anyway-its' a fairly balanced machine.
