Like the one layer of waxing gives a little shine, but giving it one more layer will gives two layers of shine?

    2) If I've waxed my car and I wanna polish it with a polishing machine..
if I polish it a little or very much, will it give any difference?
I mean polishing 5 min. or 20 min. will that give any big difference?

    3) If I can give more shine effect by giving a two layer waxing (yes to question 1), will it give any difference if I polish with a polishing machine one the first layer for ex. 20 min. and then apply the second layer and polish..?
Will it give more shine effect than one layer wax, polish for 5 min, 2 layer wax and polish?

Read CAREFULLY, he's asking if polishing the surface AFTER waxing is beneficial. He's not talking about spending extra minutes working #83 into the paint. He's talking about rubbing the surface AFTER WAXING, not polishing as most here use the term..

The answer is no. After removing the wax, you're done. You can put on another coat of wax to ensure coverage and wipe it off, but rubbing a micro-fiber over the waxed paint for five minutes doesn't help.

He can make his paint shinier by spending the appropriate amount of time fixing defects (scratches, swirls, etc.) and smoothing out the surface wafter washing and claying with #83, #80, etc., but he SHOULDN'T rub a micro fiber or polishing pad on a PC for minutes over waxed paint.

If you polish for 20 minutes, you'll end up dry buffing and put swirls back into the paint.

Within limits I think. You will need to polish longer and maybe with a more aggressive polish to remove the worst marring, or to restore badly oxidized paint, but once you've gotten the marring out I don't think you'll see much of an improvement if you then continue to polish for another 20 minutes. Yes, if you needed to use an aggressive polish to remove bad defects you will most likely need to follow that with a finer finishing product (like following M83 with M80) but I think once you've done that (removed the defects) you're basically done with polishing and ready to wax.

Well, lets see.. I think you might be kind of confusing some of the terms, and perhaps translations, so hopefully we can get you cleared up.

So see if this order of things makes sense:

    1. Wash - pretty obvious

    2. Clay - Again, fairly obvious, just claying the paint.

    3. Cleaning - Here, you would apply a cleaning product, either by hand or machine, to remove dirt and swirls, and then you would buff off the excess product with a Supreme Shine towel.

    4. Polishing - Here, you would apply a polish, either by hand or machine, to help add gloss and wetness to the paint, and then buff off with a SS towel.

    5. Waxing - Here, you would apply a coat of wax, by hand or machine, then let it sit until it has hazed. Then, you could remove the wax by hand or machine. As the thread said, it is then good to wait about 20 minutes, then apply a second coat of wax in the same manner. If you have a good machine, applying and removing wax with it can add more gloss.

However, I have no idea what you mean by 'polishing for 5 min or 20 minutes'? But I hope the above order will help out with the terminology....

Thanks but it still doesn't cver all my answers..
but I now know the answer to
    1) = YES! It will give greater protection and shine but only to a certain point!

But anybody out there who have an answer to 2) or 3)?

By 3) I mean that if fx. i polish the first layer of wax and that makes it shine more than 5 min.. Would the second layer of wax enhance the shining effect I've gained by polishing longer..?
    if it makes any sence..
