    i thought i had been scammed or something, but thank you for clearing that up for me!

    Covers or not, they sure do look terrific when clean!!!

    I see from your avitar, you upgraded to some other wheels and tires? Looks great still!

      Yea, they look great and hold up alot better than normal chrome also.

      Yup, got some Moab rims from a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. The backspacing is alittle less on them so it gives it a wider stance and they are also wider. Love them.

        Would have never guessed those where plastic.... What does the wheel itself look like? Usually wheels with covers aren't that open, know what I mean?

          You cant take the cover off, its pretty much permanent. I always figured it was just a regular 6 spoke aluminum rim under-neath it.

          Alot of car companies are doing that now. The new Dodge rams are now plastic but a couple years ago they were not. New chevy's are using them too. Cheap way to make them look great and last along time. I would rather they been chrome though.

            Do a test spot with polish and see if it makes a difference. If its brings more shine then polish then wax. The wax will help the brake dust from bonding to the wheel.

              if the rims are clearcoated or not clearcoated, couldnt you put a wax on either way?
