No didn't put it in yet but I do have to get Turtle Wax's washer fluid out... after I poured it in I read the bottle saying it only protects to 25 degrees!?!? not that great here in Iowa during the winter, I guess thats why TW was on clearance this fall.

I only use the stuff when its raining for this reason. The orange stuff is also a bug wash and de-icer. Im sure it has some very rough stuff in it..

Alcohol will get it off. Use a terry towel and soak it with the alcohol. It should take it all off.

As of right now I do not recommend using Rain-x wipes. I will purchase regular Rain-x this week. If I can figure out how to remove the current application, I will apply traditional Rain-x to one window and then apply a Rain-x wipe to the next one. I will give equal time to dry and remove the haze. I'll post back here when I do this little test. Who knows, it might just be the wipes........
Try removing it with some glass cleaner and #0000 steel wool, but please be carefull! although I have never heard of this damaging glass, use caution because you are using an abrasive.
Maybe you simply got a bad bach

Doesn't Wal-Mart sell Aquapel? I know they sell an alternative to Rain-X along with Rain-X.

I have had outstanding luck with Amsoil Rain Clear, a little harder to use than Rain-X but works better and lasts longer, especialy when coupled with Rain-X washer fluid.
I think they may have changed the pakaging and now call it BriteSide Rain Clear, I assume the formulas are the same.
still want to try Aquapel, but its to pricey for customer cars

I had no idea it was sold on Tirerack. I will order it from there. Thanks.

Thanks everyone!! The idea of applying and then washing is a great one!! I have never used traditional Rain-x, just the wipes. You can feel the amount of alcohol in the wipes as your applying them(I assume to aid in drying) . Thank you 96lude, I will look for that brand.
