  • Question on ScratchX

    Greetings all, new member here.
Question removing minor scratches. Just bought a new Pontiac Solstice Dark Blue, of course I wanted to wash and detail it myself which I did last week. Used Clay bar, Cleaner, Sealant, the works. This week to my horror discovered two hairline scratches on the trunk. I think my gilrfriend may have done it accidently of course (the little princess) anyway, since I just washed/detailed, last week should I do all that over again (which I don't mind) before I use the ScratchX or should I just wash it and then apply ScratchX.

    Re: Question on ScratchX

Wash, take the scratches out with the ScratchX (and it really does work) and then just re-wax over the area where you used ScratchX.

Thanks for the replies/advice guys. Here is a picture of my new sled if I did this right. I will try and work on getting the scratches out this weekend since I do not have a garage to do any night work.
