Yes, as Zet says, there are two different issues.
You can use #80 monthly for many years safely. There are certainly a lot of people here who have been detailing cars every month or two for a lot of their lives, and no problems.
Now if you actualy find you need to remove swirls every month, and you dont go off-roading, then something is putting a lot of swirls into the paint and you should take a look at what you are doing. Maybe you can solve the problem yourself.
If you like to detail monthly or 2 months, and find you are keeping all swirls out of your paint, you can step to an even milder polish like #82 if you like.
