  • Help Me Out 2!!!!

    Well the car I am working on is a 1995 Cutlass Ciera that has some bad paint scratches. I have tried everything but not Meguiars. I am doing some research about Meguiar products. But do not know which ones to use. So thats about it. Help Please!!

      well i have tried using Nu-Finish scratch Doctor. it works a little bit. and I am shooting towards doing it by hand.

        Well, the bottom four links deal with machines, but the top ones are good for by hand.

        ScratchX will be the product you are looking at by hand, so give those tutorials a good read.

        Now it should be noted that some scartches, if too deep, may not be able to be removed by hand, perhaps only improved. Can you catch a fingernail in them? If they are too deep, then even an expert with a rotary will not be able to remove them, as it would require removing too much paint.

        But give those first links a read over to see the process, and hopefully it will at least improve the looks.

          Well there is a couple deep ones. I think I will try that Scratch X. Hopefully it will work. Most of the scratches are little and not very deep. So removing them will make the car look A LOT better.

            Just remember that you are actualy working ot remove some paint ,so ScratchX needs to be really really worked in with a good amount of passion, and 3 or 4 applications.
