  • 2006 dodge paint , HELP

Hello all, my question is, does anyone have an idea of how dodge paint is, man it seems like scratch x doesnt even work on this paint, i have several light scratches, that i must have tried to rub out with scratch x and a lot of passion behind the applicator, after about 10 passes, i saw some slight improvement, but it would literally take a lot of time just to hit the few fine scratches i have..

car is an 06 dodge magnum , brilliant black pearl, i really need to get a pc or someone with good rotary experience, to buff the hell out the car, get all the swirls out , light scratches, and give me a clean slate to maintain ,anyone in north jersey wanna help a fellow new jersian?

A PC wil certainly help get your scratches out but as far as a complete exorcism, I'm not sure

Seriously, having an black car has proven to be a challenge for me as well.... everything shows but if the paint is in good condition, a pass with #80 Speed Glaze with the PC should make a dramatic difference...I'd be glad to help you but I'm no where near NJ...sorry

I have a 2001 Plymouth Neon with "Shale Metallic Green" paint, and it too is pretty tough. ScratchX seems to do nothing for the swirls, but unlike black cars, you don't really see it until up close. For now, I can live with it.
