  • received products and have a question

I just got a bunch of stuff from ADS but i am confused on two products...

I got the 32oz sampler of APCP, now do i need to get a seperate bottle to dilute the product or is it already dilutted??

I also got the 32oz sampler of All season dressing and on ADS website it says ready to use so i dont have to dillute right??

as for APCP how do i know what dullution to use if i am using it for multiple things??

these products are new to me so i have no knowledge on them...

    thanks

First, yes, the All-Season Dressing, or ASD from ADS , is ready to use. I dont know what sort of bottle it comes in, so you'll have to see how you want to apply it, maybe getting another spray bottle, etc.

The APC+ is concentrated, so you will need to dilute it. The recomended ratios are 10:1 for light cleaning and 4:1 for heavy cleaning.

Measurement in volume is relative, it could be ounces and for most people it will be, but it's relative to the measurement/volume you're mixing. Thus if you're mixing 4:1, and you're filling a 32 ounce spray bottle, to create 30 ounces of product you'll add 6 ounces of concentrate to 24 ounces of water to create 30 ounces of usable product. At least if I did my math correctly.

We tried to take the guess work out of this by adding measurement fill lines to our matching secondary bottles. By adding these lines you don't have to do any math and we reduce the potential for mistakes.

I know this is a stupid question... but how do you get the one ounce? cap full? I just received the 32 ounce concentrate from ADS also.

if you know this is concentrated then pour you product into another container, then the second pic mike postrd with the side view of the bottle it has a circle that should say 4to1 fill it to that line with water then pour the remander of prduct till the seam

Re: received products and have a question

Obviously it's bets to check with Rick directly if you want to know for sure but IIRC ADS samples are full strength, just like Meguiar's delivers them, only smaller size. That way your sample works exactly the way the full size product works.

Re: received products and have a question

I have recieved many samples from ADS and they were always at full strength. You APCP bottle should have the dillution marks on it. The best solution short of buying more Detailer line bottles would be to put the entire contents of the APCP in a seperate bottle and mix to the desired dillution in the bottle the APCP came in. That takes the guess work out of it as Mike mentioned above. If you have to pick just one dillution ratio go with 10:1. I rarely find that I reach for the 4:1 with APC.
