I dont know enought about this to know which is better. You guys do. I talked to one person on another forum and told them what products I was using on my car coming up this next weekend. I am going to be using and orbital similar to this one,




He said that it can produce holograms in the paint and sometimes paint marring. But reading this thread
obrital buffer, pc, it said that its good to use. I will be claying my car then using deep crystal number 1 and 2 then i will be waxing with gold class. I will apply all products with this orbital buffer and remove by hand. Is this ok? or will it cause holograms and marring?

Using an orbital polisher like the one in the picture is completely safe and will not harm the finish in any way as long as all the products you use are non-abrasive and your bonnets are clean.

It could be your friend is confusing the orbital polisher with the rotary buffer? The rotary buffer is also safe to use as long as the person using it is using the correct technique with the correct pads and products.
