  • Bissell Little Green Machine

I just picked up the Bissell Little Green Machine. I was wondering, do you guys think I could use Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner+ in the machine? I do not plan on using Bissells solution because it does work very well.

If I did use APC+, would I just dillute it properly with hot water, and pour it into the machine?

When I had a LGCM I found that I didn't like using any cleaners in it. I prefer to spray cleaners with a spray bottle and just use clean water in the LGCM.

I have the Little Green Machine and the only thing I use in it is Bissel's carpet cleaner liquid. And it work's great.

The use of almost any chemical in an extractor's tank will lead to interior buildup that is quite diffcult to remove. We have great success simply spraying the APC on to the carpet surface, agitating, and extracting.

Cycle some vinegar thru the machine occasionally to remove mineral deposits (that will accumulate from tap water).

Oh, here's some food for thought: The water that you leave in the carpet is just as dirty as the water you remove...

That's why when I'm done cleaning the carpet I back over it just with the suction part and make sure I get all the water out.

            Ditto.

Spray from a bottle, agitate with a brush, rinse & extract (not to be confused with a true extractor!) with the LGCM
