polished aluminium?

I'm looking for info on how to set about polished aluminium.......I remember 2hotford had a thread about his boat and tought there might be some info there but any info would be good

While Tim used a buffer, if you are working on tail pipes, muffler, etc, working by hand with Nxt polish will give fantastic results as well. Claying before hand also helps.

Also, I've been having a play with a piece of aluminium tonight and I'm fairly certain.........or at least I hope.........the car will have been laquered, I can't imagine a car where all panels are aluminium not being laquered........so here's hoping
