  • lots of questions about a 95 civic what i should do. Please help.

hey guys, so i decided that i really don;t have the money for a new paint job and to tell you the truth whenever i wax my car it looks pretty good and i just used some of meguiars color x with some pretty good results. But my car has a lot of little dents and chip and i was wondering if it would be more worth it to body fill the dents that i have and try to match the touch up paint as good as i can and with some rubbing compound should i be able to get the car to blend and look good again? And also about the famous white cracks on the hood you all prob know about. What can i do to get rid of them? I've heard some wet sanding but i was wondering if maybe a rough rubbing compoud with a electric buffer would get them out. they have spread about halfway up my hood and its really killing the front of my car looks wise. I just want the car to have a nice shine to it again and have no dents and paint chips. im willing to put the time in and i know how to do bondo correctly and spray paint to match it pretty well im just wondering what anyone would suggest. Thanks for any help. Car is granda black pearl and its a 95 dx coupe too btw.

heres a pic of the hood so you know what i mean.

If you know how to do bodywork then sure. When you say spray paint you mean with a paint gun and not cans right? As far as the cracking goes you wont know if it is all the way down until you get there. Save your money for a pro paint job. It is worth the wait. Dont do one of those chain 200 jobbers. Sometimes now isnt always the answer.
