I placed in order on 6/25/06 at ADS with Rick for about $130.00 worth of products, including some of the new detailer line chemicals. It was scheduled to arrive 7/3/06, got delayed due to 4th of July, and then eventually ended up being damaged at the UPS facility somehow. Has anybody here ever experienced anything like this before? I spoke to Rick this week about it and he seems like a great guy. This is the first time I actually ordered from him but I would definitely order from him again given his level of concern for customer service. I'm confident that he'll get it figured out and have another shipment out ASAP, just wanted to know if this has happened before to anyone???

lol, thats UPS for ya. I had the same thing happen, i posted about it in the g100 forum month or 2 ago. My g100 was all waterdamaged so were some towels and applicators. UPS said it must of been on the bottem of the train during the rain or something. But long story short, emailed Rick, he called up UPS, they came and took it and once rick got the damaged stuff and the insurance claim, he sent out the new shipment. I got the new shipment in perfect condition. Rick is a good guy to deal with.

Wow thanks for the help...I did speak with Rick on the phone and he seemed like a great guy. I would definitely do business with him again after seeing how he's taking a proactive approach to this whole situation. He seemed very concerned and overall a great person to deal with. The original shipment is in transit back to him so he can receive that before shipping out the new shipment. Thanks for the update, although it's very unfortunate, it's still nice to know this has sometimes happened before.Jason

I work in the delivery sector of distribution. trust me, you can pack and tape a package until you think nothing will ever happen to it. it will! cartons will go through the worst handling possible. UPS is guilty of it period! that's why UPS automatically insure up to $100 so that its basically cover.
don't be disappointed when you products arrive damaged or not in the condition you wish. ADS can't control the shipping company handling of cartons.

While it can be a little disappointing, it's nothing in the grand scheme of things. I was a little upset at first, but I know that Rick has absolutely nothing to do with the way the boxes are handled. I don't place any of the blame on him, and he has been great throughout the entire process. I know he'll take care of everything to make sure everything gets here as promised. I recommend him to anybody and would definitely do business with him again.Jason
