Qustion about porter cable

Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone has used this model(Porter Cable 7424)
and the next question is does this work with the meguiar's pads?

Yes and Yes. You will just need to order a backing plate from Meguiars.

The only big difference is that the G-100 has a lifetime warranty, while the Porter Cable models have a 1-year warranty.

I think you'd have more people on here that have used the 7424/G100 over people who haven't.

The G100 comes with a pad and the backing plate and can be purchased through the Meguiars website or Auto Detailing Solutions website.

The 7424 you would have to purchase a backing plate and some pads. Both are the same tool so you can't go wrong either way. Coastal Tool has some of the best prices for the 7424.

With the correct 5" or so backing plate, any Meguiars pads can be used with the 7424.

just so you know....meguiars calls it a g100 (same machine) theres a whole g100 section on this forum

Be sure to look at autodetailingsolutions.com as well for the G-100. They have some nice packages that the Meguias site doesnt.
