After you clean the exhaust, can you use a product like all metal polysh on it or will the results be destroyed by the heat?

I use the Nxt Metal Polish and my polished aluminum tips.

I have no idea how long any protection lasts, but they sure stay shiny. The Multi-Piece Wheel Cleaner makes a nice cleaner for the polished aluminum as well.

The polish will not be destroyed by heat from my experience. Yes the part will need to be polished again in the future though. I usually need to polish my stainless steel exhaust every 3 weeks or so to keep it at maximum shine.

And I also use wheel cleaner to clean my exhaust.

i use nxt metal polysh and get great results -- as far as how long it lasts i don't know -- i polish my chrome tip everytime i wash my truck -- and the heat from the exhaust doesn't seem to effect it at all --

every time you use a metal polish you are removing the oxidation on the metal so the heat doesn't affect your results but eventually you'll have to repolish the exhaust if you want it looking like new. same as paint
