I'm sure this has been addressed. Maybe someone can point me to a link. I am questioning the advisability of EVER using QD on a black car if it has been oustide for the day. It seems that the accumulation of dust and other contaminants just HAS to be enough to cause swirls on black. OK. Shoot me down.

I dont know if there is a specific thread on the topic, but here are my thoughts.
If it is a daily driver, or parked outside, dont bother with QDing between washes.
If you arent sure if it is 'light dust' or 'too much/heavy dust', then it is too much.
Sort of the "If you have to ask, you cant afford it" principle....
