I applied #80 with a G-100 on a black car ( you can see the writeup on http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...threadid=12448 ), and I noticed how incredibly difficult it was the remove when using an MF towel. The finish was bad shape. I started with a wash with Gold class, a claying, then DC#1.
I have applied #80 on a couple other cars by both hand and G-100, neither was any harder to remove than NXT wax. These two cars are in excellent condition.
Is the reason that #80 was so difficult to remove because the paint was such poor condition at the time that it had "sucked out all the oils" from the #80? Will subsequent applications of #80 be easier to buff off as the oils are restored into the paint? I made up those theories right now, so hopefully experienced folks have a more educated answer.
