Wax Scratching, n/a w/ NXT

Mike,

I noticed when NXT was used on my Black paint, it seems to prevent wax scratching from CD use.

When using another wax, the CD would scratch the wax.

What's the reasoning.

My mistake California Duster.

When used properly on dust, the California Car Duster will not scratch your paint. When it is new you are supposed to place it on a newspaper to absorb any wax. Sometimes on a freshly waxed surface the CCD may leave streaks but those can be removed with a QD.

NXT Tech Wax and the CCD work great together. I always follow up with Final Detail to get bugs, fresh tar, and tree sap off of the paint. The CCD gets e majority of dust of the suface so you don't get a heavy accumulation of dust on you r MF towel. You should use it every day or two when it has not rained on your car.

This week I tried the CCD on the hood w/o using a QD and it worked pretty good. The surface was washed with NXT Car Wash and that helped cut down on the dust accumulation so there was not as much dust to remove. Now if Meguiars would only come up with a anti-static NXT Quick Detailer......
