My wife's PT cruiser is a constant struggle with the soft paint. I do everything I can to not get the spider webs but they always show up. I've just had to decide that between detail sessions I'll have to live with it. It's only 1 year old. My 5 year old Sebring sedan shows little to no spider webs. Unless you want to go insane, I'd suggest that you do what you can for the Suburban and be happy with that, especially if it's a daily driver.

However, something that does work for my wife's PT is frequent waxing. I'll wax her car about 3 times before I'll wax the Sebring. The NXT is durable and fills in the webs a bit.
