  • Marine Products on Auto

I was checking out some of the products in the Marine line and was wondering if a few of them would offer some significant usages on cars.
For example....for hard water spots on glass..

    And for soft top convertables...

and....I dont know about you, but the pics look about 10 feet tall ...

(Edit: These photos are huge and it's because of the was Rick over at ADS uses MS Frontpage, (I think), to create his webpages that they will look small over there but when the URL Address is used over here, the code that makes them look small over there doesn't come with the photos so they show up as large in the forum, so I just removed them. These photos are actually in our Gallery as I've used them and thus did all the work it takes to resize, edit, crop a photo the guys at meguars.com use actually work on our forum. -Mike)

As of right now, I think the official word is sort of.

The canvas products are good for automotive convertible tops, if they are canvas. And patio stuff of course.

I think the Hard Water Spot Remover, and like the Metal Guard are a little more up in the air.

The SS Microfibers and Water Magents are good of course, and they are larger sizes.

Aren't most soft tops made of canvas?
Also...anyone have any experience using the marine lines wash mitt?
It claims to be able to hold more soap and water than traditional wash mitts...

Modern convertible tops are made out of comlex synthetic materials, we, (as in you and I and the rest of the world), simply continue to refer to covertible tops as canvas, but they are not really canvas/cotton tops like they were in the old days.
