There are some products that you "can" let dry but I would not recommend you doing so until you have enough familiarity with them.
But for the DC #1, wipe it off after working it.Jeff Smith

I would actually recommend you NOT to let the paint cleaner dry. I don't think there's be a point. I love this product as it's quick, easy to use, and gives you results in seconds. Just work it in till what you're trying to remove is gone. Then buff dry with a mf. I spot check my truck for little things. For instance...it was really windy one day and I park my truck outside and apparently the black trash was blown into the side of my truck and tipped over leaving black smeared marks on the right side of the truck bed. Washed the truck then used the paint cleaner. Took no longer then 2 minutes to get it out ( one minute to get a mf and the paint cleaner). I was amazed. Works well on hard water spots too.
