As an 'outsider', I'll jump in and suggest that your tool is severely limited in every area.

Follow the previous suggestions re Customer Service.

Consider the purchase of a G100...

I figured since it was 3 years old that it is out of warranty but I will give customer service a call if it falls apart again and see what they will do for me.
To answer another question it is a press in fit.
As to loaning tools out that is a big NO NO for me also, even have to get after my son on the way he leaves his tools about his shop. I do have some foreign junk tools I had when I worked in a maint shop, you purchased junk and if and when you destroyed they they replaced them with a better quality but not the best quality but if they don't want to give a tool allowance you buy when you can first afford and when you first go into that area they want you to have all the necessary hand tools to start with, so of course you buy cheap ones to make it easier on you budget.
Well if this falls apart again I will see what customer service says and maybe they will let me upgrade to a G100 with little or no cost if they will replace the one I have now under warranty..
