  • FI #34 q

    Hello,

Does #34 Final Inspection contain any polymer? So, #34 consider a QD?. I had seen few peoples use it wipe down after they polish with M83 or similar. Will this have any bonding issue with #21 or #20?

Hmm, I can use it to wipe down, but will it have bonding issue when I start applying sealant on the panel?

        Hi:

I use #34 all the time like many here. Never had a problem using it with any other Meguiar's product; polish, wax, sealant, etc.

One reason I use only Meguiar's products is I known that they all will work together with no problem.

        Regards,

          Hi Ken,

Meg's #34 is Body Shop Safe and will not hurt anything at all if it is used during the detail and before the final finish (LSP). I have used it for years and years and consider it one of my main products to use!

Just keep in mind that after the LSP has been applied and removed, no water or QD's should be used on the surface, at least overnight until the product has had time to set-up properly. Of course that is in the perfect world.

            Tim,

So I can spray #34 on the panels before I apply the sealant and still wont cause any bonding issue, correct? TIA

Yes, that is correct. If you apply it and then wipe it off before the LSP, you will have no problems at all!

                    Hey Ken,

You shouldn't as it is designed to be used as is.

if you are interested in diluting it you could get some last touch, but if this is just for your own use the size may be too large

I have switched to using Fi for all prep work. I used it the other day when I clayed, I used it yesteday and today while doing some Rotary work with #83 and will continue to use it through the whole detail up through and including the LSP.

My thinking is that if it is body Shop Safe, it is safe to use for all my prep work as well. In my own mind it seems that this is liekly one of the better products to use for this sort of work because of the Body Shop Safe characteristics of it.

I dunno, just makes sense to me with my feeble little brain..
