I am trying to seal the paint with a sealent then get the shine/depth/wet look. I was thinking of:
    #9
    MPPPx2
    #26x2
    #16x2

then add 1 layer of #26 and #16 about every 2 weeks.

Will #9 remove whats on the surface now?

Looks like a good technique to me.

#9, for the most part, will remove what's on your paint as it does contain abrasives designed to deal with surface imperfections. Naturally, to get to those surface imperfections (like swirls etc), a product would have to go through what ever is on top of or within the imperfection in order to effectively work.
