New to detailing need some help

I drive a 03 Nissan 350z and will someday soon tackle a complete exterior detail but don't know where to start ( I've searched ). I have taken my car to be clayed and the results were incredible. I need to know what products I need to purchase to tackle the job. I have used the NXT tech wax and the quik detailer with excellent results as shown below. What steps do I need to take for and what products do I need to pickup. I also do not have a detail machine of any type so this will be a job done completely by hand. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated....Thanks Ed

hey, your location is listed as L A, did you realise megs is based down in irvine?? you can attend a saturday detail clinic or i think theyre doing weds evenings now too

i attended a detail class and learned alot of stuff, and it makes more sense being there rather than reading it

Nice ride, you have good taste. You'll learn most everything you need to know about your car at the Meguiar's Detail Clinic. I'd reccomend bringing a small notepad to jot some things down, its really informative and helpful to someone new, or someone who has already begun detailing.

^^by all means enjoy the pics. I will soon have my front bumper repainted and then hopefully a clear-bra for protection on the paint. I then will hopefully look into some type of sponsorship with Meguiar's since that is all I use even though 85% of all my Z buddies use Zaino. I have got better results using meguiar's than anything else and it shows.
