#4 heavy cut cleaner

Can #4 heavy cut cleaner be used with the DA?

If so, what would be a rec. pad and speed?

Was thinking of trying this for anything that #83 doesn't quite do well or quick enough.

Unless your working on old paint that is in bad condition I wouldn't use #4.

I won't use #4 with a DA either.

Depending on the defects you want to remove and the type and condition of the paint, I would be more inclined to use #83, #80, or #9.

Anything that a D.A. can't correct with any of those products might mean you will need to step up to rotory work and #84-#85.

Thanks for your quick reply and info. I will forego using #4 for the reasons you stated. I am not going to try getting into using the rotary since I only do my own vehicles; not in business as a detailer.
