Quik Wax's cleaning ability...

I did some searches in this forum on Meg's spray waxes, namely Quik Wax which comes in the maroon bottle. I just purchased a bottle this weekend figuring I needed a "booster wax" for those weeks where I only wash the car.

However, I read on the back of Quik Wax's labeling and apparently the product not only protects, but also cleans the surface.

A week ago I applied a coat of #16. My concern is will this product--Quik Wax--be strong enough to disrupt the protective barrier provided by #16? Is it recommended to apply when the car is wet for minimal cleaning?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

i had no idea that it did have cleaning ability!!!???

but i am pretty sure its cleaning ability is very very limited

It is only cleaning enough to remove very very light dirt off the wax surface that washing might have missed.

It is not strong enough to remove the previous wax.

The Quick Wax was meant as a touch-up in between regular waxings, so I doubt that it would remove much, if any, of the #16.
