  • Whitewall Help!

Any chance there is a dressing in Meguiar's line that I can use on my Vogue whitewall tires that will make it a little easier to clean the brake dust off of them. Currently I am using The Endurance satin gel on the tire but not on the whitewall.

    Thanks in advance

Not sure if Meguiar's as something other than APC but I use Westley's Bleche-White for the cleaning of my white letters on my tires and I am sure you could use it for your whitewalls as well

I have used tire sprays in the past on whitewalls with good results.. been a while though.

Does the Endurance Gel color your whitewall?

I have never tried it on the whitewall part of the tire. I thought it would attract more brake dust due to its not drying completely on the tire surface. I was looking for a product to maybe seal the whitewall so its not so porous

Well, I didnt use the Gel, I used another companys tire spray at the time, and didnt notice any more dirt than usual. But I would expect similar results from Hot Shine, Nxt Tire Spray, etc. But what I expect isnt always what happens I guess...

I use the Bleche White as I feel it doesn't get much better out there for whitewalls. I then dress it with Endurance and I think it looks fantabulous. If only endurance was easier to spray on, then I'd do it every day because white tires on a sunny day really make the car.

Does anyone use Meguiar's Body Solvent on whitewalls or letters?

I have a similar product that I fog on first, then go over with an all-purpose cleaner, then blast with the pressure washer.

It eats through about every problem stain or general dirt I've ever encountered WITHOUT any brushing.

For keeping brake dust off the whites, I try to minimize the amount of dressing I apply and just keep it on the black.
See the big picture, enjoy the details

I was told there is a product that you put on the whitewall that seals it so the brake dust cleans off much easier. I can't remember what it is . It was quite a while ago
