I've been out of town and away from the computer quite a bit for the last three days and so far I haven't heard anything about the backing plates, call Customer Care and they should be able to update you.

AutoDetailingSolutions is owned by Rick Myers and is a distributor of Meguiar's products.

It's the W64DA for the G100. Some people that ordered our buffer at one of our recent Saturday Detailing Classes didn't get their backing plates as they were back ordered. This was somewhat of a disappointment because they were ready to start working on their cars putting into practice the things they learned yet they were unable to because of the missing backing plate.

That's the part number I figured she was referring to. Hehe, I could imagine the disappointment!

We're in the process of closing on a house and after things calm down I'll be ordering the G100A package myself. I couldn't believe how sweet that little machine was at the class Tim taught on Saturday morning!

If I order the G100A , then that will come with a backing plate, correct? Do the pads come with the velcro surface ready to attach to the backing plate? Or would I need to order multiple W64DA's?

Now I am by far a professional user of the G100. However, I did just get mine and have been playing with. You only need 1 backing plate, and 1 pad PER product. The pads do come with the quick release velcro backing, to allow you to change quickly.

Haha... of course you are. 8-) Sorry about that man!

I figured they were in (at least our Inventory System said they were)... In Irvine, Tennessee and I think there are even some at our detail center's retail inventory, but that might be a stretch from MO!
