  • Even Coat Applicators

How do you all manage to take care of the Even Coat Applicators? I just had 4 of them fall apart in the washer. I soaked them in Dawn, and rinsed in the sink, and washed in the delicate cycle. When I pulled them of to hang out to dry, the seams on all 4 applicators came apart. I know there only $3.99 for 2, but I expected them to last longer than 1 use!

Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..

    Call Customer Care at 1-800-347-5700

Site this thread and they'll take care of you. They track issues like this and pass it along to the Product Manager.

    Thanks!

i just hand wash mine then let them air dry, however I dedicate them to one product per pad, just like I do polishing pads

Ive never had a problem with any of my meguiars towels, or applicator pads. I throw them in the washer with regular detergent, on the fast cycle in hot water, to break up any dirt or residue, then i put them in the dryer. and thats after each car wash 1- 2 times a week, and they still look like new. I also dedicate my towels and pads to one product. maybe dawn is to strong?

I've had the same issue this summer. I called support and they sent me a new set out. All the stiching came out of mine.

I washed them on delicate with normal detergent.

I think there was a thread at one point about a few others having the same issue. Support is great, they will take care of you

Against the advice of some people on the forum, I washed mine on the delicate cycle too. 3 applicator pads (2 yellow, 1 nxt) down the drain. Have big chunks missing out of them.
