Christmas gift

First off I would like to say this forum is great, extremely informative, so most of my questions have been previously answered. Thank you Mike and everyone else.

Now, being a Craftsman tool guy I have received a Craftsman 6 inch buffer/polisher for Christmas. I have yet to get a PC, hopefully soon. So my question is what if any use can I get out this polisher?

Also, if anyone has any experience with this particular Craftsman polisher any feedback or suggestions would be helpful. I also have access to a Waxcoa brand 11'' orbital and any feedback would be of great help. Oh, yeah returning, selling, burning, etc. are pretty much out of the question.

It would work fine for applying a LSP (Last Step Product)/wax/sealant etc. You could probably also use it for applying a pure polish such as Megs 3, 5, 7 since they don't need to be heavily 'worked in'
