I sold my old 1996 black Saturn SC Coupe to my sister for her son. I spent a Saturday teaching him how to clay and wax. I gave him Scratch-X and Color-X, clay, detailer, applicators, chenille mitt, microfiber towels and some of my Meguiar's shampoo. I've got a sample of leather cleaner for his seats I'll be giving him as well.
I started him off and then did periodic checks on his progress. When he got done the car looked great.
I also showed my mother and we did her car, but at 76 I doubt she'll be detailing her own car. But we can probably get Chris to do it for her.
My sister told me he's continued to practice what I taught. He detailed it again so he could show off the car at school now that he's driving it to work regularly.
And I guess they have a friend with a jeep who wants me to detail it. LOL. I said I'll make a list of products he can buy (all Meguiars) and I'll be glad to guide him like I did Chris.
Told my mother and sister I'll gladly make a list of products they can give Chris for birthdays and Christmases to come.
All Meguiar's of course.
BTW I converted them all by reducing the scratches my dogs put on the car. You can read about it here:
I did it all by myself! I love Scratch-X.
