  • MPPC via PC?

I'm using a sample of Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner that a friend gave me, so I can't read the instructions. Anyways, can I use it with a PC? If so, I'm guessing the best way to do it would be like a pure polish, correct? Does this sound alright: Speed 3.5-4 with a tan finishing pad, working it in one panel at a time and wiping it off before it dries?
    Thanks.

I read somewhere that you can use it with a PC. Although it does not say on the bottle (does it?).

    Good Luck!!

Yep, the bottle says by hand or orbital buffer.

MPPC works great when applied by PC. I use a yellow polishing pad and set the PC to 5.0. Work a section at a time and do not let the product dry. If you let it dry it will be more difficult to remove. This is a very good combination, it is just a notch or to below #83 and way easier to use.

MPPC doesn't have much in the way of polishing oils, so I would follow it up with #80 or #7 if the paint is black or dark-colored.

It's a mild polish. I find it has less cut than #80 Speed Glaze.

Definitely follow up with a polish (with or without abrasive). Although MPPC is not highly abrasive, it does utilize a strong cleaner. Polish will replenish some top oils.

Clean the pad often! Because of the high solvent content (and strength), MPPC can be a 'pad killer'. To clean, simply hold a microfiber towel (or terry cloth) in one hand, set the pad on it and turn on the machine. Press firmly. The towel will pull most of the cleaner out of the pad. Doing this will keep the pad from becoming saturated quickly (and allowing the solvent to reach the velcro backing (causing premature pad failure!).

Caution: Do not allow the towel to get caught up in the counterbalance where the backing plate is screwed on!

This certainly can happen quite suddenly. From what I've HEARD.
